CANCELLATION POLICY

As counselling requires your therapist to reserve a significant amount of time for your session, we have a policy regarding cancellations and missed appointments that is fair to you, your therapist, and other clients who need appointments.

LATE CANCELLATIONS

If a cancellation occurs with less than 24 hours notice, this is considered a late cancellation and 50% of the original session price will be charged. Payment is due on the same day of the scheduled appointment.

NO SHOWS

When no notice is received,  100% of the session fee will be due. Payment is due on the same day of the scheduled appointment.

IF YOUR COUNSELLOR NEEDS TO CANCEL

Our therapists will also agree to keep consistent with this policy. Respectfully, they will provide at least 24 hours notice should they need to cancel or reschedule. Should an emergency arise they will do their absolute best to notify their client(s) as soon as possible.

EXCEPTIONS

We appreciate that emergencies do arise and do not always allow for 24-hour notice. In the event of a medical emergency, cancellation fees will be waived.

INSURANCE CANCELLATIONS

We encourage you to connect with your insurance provider. Charges for late cancellations and missed appointments may not be covered through your plan.  In this case, the Client will be personally responsible to pay for any cancellation fees not accepted for health insurance reimbursement.

RE-BOOKING

Any outstanding balances must be paid in order to schedule future appointments.
